You will write a variety of feature stories while also building your skills in photography, page layout/design and editing. We have a versatile staff and work together to create an award-winning product.
The Commercial Review is in the midst of its best year in the history of the publication in terms of awards, having earned a variety of honors from the Hoosier State Press Association, Indiana Associated Press Managing Editors and Society for Professional Journalists. We finished third in the field of 32 small daily newspapers in Indiana for general excellence in the HSPA 2011 Better Newspaper Contest.
We are looking for applicants who have writing experience at their collegiate newspaper and/or as an intern at a professional publication. Experience in photography and layout are a plus, but not required. This has traditionally been an entry-level position.
